Basics in RF Fractional Ablation

Fractionated ablative RF is similar to fractionated ablative lasers in that both have a pattern of microscopic ablated/coagulated tissue channels.

Plasma

Plasma is a partially ionized gas, which contains charged carriers (electrons and ions), active radicals, and excited molecules.

How Does it Work?

The electromagnetic RF energy stimulates micro-sparks between the skin surface and the RF electrode. These sparks ablate and perforate the skin to controlled depths where the body then triggers a healing response to produce new, healthy tissue. The RF Pixel avoids epidermal penetration, allowing for a faster healing process, while reducing downtime.

Our sessions include a topical numbing agent to reduce discomfort. The session itself takes about 30 minutes, followed by our Biocellulose Healing Mask, which helps combat redness associated with the procedure.

The device can achieve more in one session than most RF technologies, but we recommend between three to six sessions for optimal results about four weeks apart. Slight improvements are noticed after the treatment, but optimal effects will continue to progress for the next three months.
