Microneedling News

Microneedling is an effective procedure for improving a variety of skin conditions. There are many techniques and devices currently in use. Microneedling can treat fine lines, pigmentation, acne, stretchmarks, scars, and skin texture. Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling isn’t limited to the face, it can also be used to treat other areas of the body, including the neck, abdomen, and arms.

CIT continues to be a popular treatment for its effectiveness and affordability. There is no topical numbing in superficial microneedling, and a series of treatments spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart are recommended. For vertical devices which are more invasive, a topical anesthetic is applied before the procedure. A series of treatments spaced 5 to 6 weeks apart are recommended.
